I also had a fork in hand and was very lucky that I didn't land on the fork.
Crying, then laughter ensued. My foot however, still hurts and has a nice bruise and lump on the top of it. Not sure if I can wear a regular shoe anytime soon.
Luckily the rest of my day got better from there.

Friday, got home from store- bags in my hand - went to get mail - open gate, walk to mailbox, walk back through gate and right foot in the way when it closes - big rusted metal frame, one inch off ground scrapes back of heal - OUCH OUCH OUCH! Skin hanging off and bright new shinny skin in two places and OMGoodness when was my last combat the dirty rusty gate shot?
Ouch! Sounds like something I would do, Leslie! Should we get you a wheelchair? I've always wanted to push someone around in one...
