Affected

I have mentioned her here before. For close to 17 months, I have closely followed, worried, prayed and cried for her and her family.

I do not know her, but Stephanie Nielson's story has deeply affected me.

Today I am profoundly grateful that there is a God that is aware of us and although our choices may take us from the path he intended for us, He gives us strength we didn't know we were capable of to overcome our trials. Whether those trials be great or small, he is keenly aware of our needs. He puts people in our lives that love us, support us and make us look in mirrors we would rather ignore.

No matter what happens to us in this life, I know that God loves us and that love is eternal and unending.
