Yesterday I went with a few friends to see "The Magic Flute" at the Utah Symphony. It was part of the
Lollipop Series and was mostly geared toward children. I was super glad that I invited my friend Julie because she in turn invited her two granddaughters and daughter-in-law. Once we got there and there were a lot of children there, I realized how awkward it may have been for me to be there by myself without a child with which to enjoy the symphony/opera.

Before the performance began, they had an instrument "petting zoo". We were able to see some of the instruments up close and personal. This was my trying my hand at the violin. It was much harder to play and it appeared!
Anyway, the performance really was magical and was the perfect way to spend a Saturday morning! AND, I got to mark another thing off my list!

I just love your list! Especially the parts I get to participate with! Thanks again. This was way fun!
Glad you had fun! If you come to my house I'll let you "pet" my viola all you want.
